• Dr. Vanda Corbett, B.Sc, D.C., A.L.C.P., has known since the age of just 2 years old that she wanted to be a chiropractor, except, unable to pronounce the word she declared she'd be a 'firecracker'. Born into a family that has always lived by the philosophy that the body has an innate healing ability, and that chiropractic is a key to unleashing this healing potential, Dr. Vanda has been fortunate enough to be under chiropractic care her entire life.

It was her own personal health challenges however, that confirmed her decision to become a chiropractor. As a young girl, Dr. Vanda was stricken with a debilitating condition that left her in extreme pain, and in and out of a wheelchair for much of her youth. Doctors, unable to diagnose her condition recommended leg amputation. Luckily, it was with her parents fortitude and belief in the body's ability to heal that encouraged them to use chiropractic care for her and today Dr. Vanda has virtually no trace of the illness that plagued her youth. "I have experienced a huge variety of both traditional and alternative means of health care around the world," says Dr. Vanda, "yet it is chiropractic that saved my life. I chose this profession to give to others the life changing benefits that I experienced myself."

Attending the University of Calgary in Canada and then “The Fountainhead,” Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Vanda graduated with Cum Laude honours in 2004. She was then part of a successful multi-disciplinary practice based in Alberta, Canada, before deciding to share her expertise internationally by moving to Dubai in late 2010. She is triple certified with the Canadian, American and United Arab Emirates Chiropractic National Boards, and is also a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors, Chiropractic Leadership Alliance and is the currently on the executive board of the Emirates Chiropractic Association.

  • As part of her commitment to providing her patients with the best care, Dr. Vanda has completed many post-graduate specializations including extremities, sports injuries, pediatrics, and pre and post pregnancy care for mothers.

Dr. Vanda’s passion is helping families achieve their highest health potential. She has treated patients as young as four hours old, up to 97 years young. Dr. Vanda is well versed in a multitude of chiropractic techniques, which ensures she is able to utilize the specific method that suits the needs of each individual patient.

She has taken this passion for her patients to the most vulnerable communities globally through humanitarian trips to Nicaragua, Fiji, Brazil and India. These pro-bono volunteer missions are aimed at helping to develop chiropractic clinics for the world's most disadvantaged. Dr. Vanda affirms, "Every time I have the opportunity to bring relief to thousands in these countries, I find myself most humbled by the experience. It has been amazing to see the lives changed by chiropractic."

In her life outside the clinic, Dr. Vanda loves all types of dance, and is experienced in International Latin, Salsa and her love - West Coast Swing in which she has competed internationally. She also enjoys Dubai’s beaches, deserts and sunny weather.

Dr. Vanda is here to listen to you and your family’s health concerns, and to guide your success in achieving your overall health and wellness goals. Please give her a call, she looks forward to meeting you!
